? french 18thC silver mark

Hi, I was wondering if anyone could possibly identify this silver mark on a piece of silver which I believe was imported. I think it may be french, possibly from the 1700's. I am no sure if the image will come up as this is the first time I have used the forum and attempted to upload a picture.
The mark is a capital R with a crown on top, three prong. cheers. hope the picture uploads and someone can help, gary
