French 18th beaker

Hi everybody,

I have this beakers, French 18th, but I can't identify the hallmarks.

The head is maybe a monkey ?

Could the A be the date letter for 1764? reading J C Livet

Hi,

The "A" is not the A starting 18 july 1764. See: La dadation de l'orfevrery parisienne sous l'ancien regime, Paris musees 1995.
I don't think it is French. The A could also be a town mark. For example Abo, Finland has a horizontal bar above the A.
