Trying to identify Russian maker

Postby techsol » Thu Jul 17, 2014 7:49 am

Hi,

I have a Russian table spoon hallmarked for Moscow 1890. I believe the assayer is Lev Fridirikhovitch Oleks but I am having trouble identifying the maker, any help would be greatly appreciated.

Regards,
Martin

Hi techsol!
Most likely Vasiliy Davydovich Davydov (Василий Давыдович Давыдов), who worked in Moscow in 1871-1900 (Information from В.Скурлов "Список ювелиров Москвы, 1850-1917 гг.").
