Unusual Three Axe Crest

Postby dognose » Wed Jun 25, 2014 2:34 pm

Hi,

Just seeking information for a friend. Here's an unusual crest noted on a salver retailed at Liverpool probably around 1882:

The motto is almost unreadable, but may begin with 'Country - ??hn -?hnm'

Any thoughts appreciated.

Ah... found it. It's the crest of the Aynesworth family.

The motto is 'Courage sans peur' (Courage without fear')
