Dutch markers mark P.C. above?

Have been perplexed by this makers mark. P.C. seem clear enough but the letter beneath looks like an upside down R with a pellet. Your thoughts would be appreciated. Warren

Hi Warren,

The makers’ mark reads; P.C. above B* for; Pieter Coenraad Burghoorn registered in the city of Schoonhoven with this particular master's mark from 1882-1920. The sword mark, standard mark for small silver objects, minimum 833 /1000 and I believe, looking at the grip of the sword, used 1814-1905.

Pieter Coenraad Burghoorn started as a registered silversmith; 17-10-1876 and stopped after 1919, known maker of small spoons. During 1881-1882, due to economic downpour, Pieter Coenraad stopped as an independent silversmith and worked under another master’s name. The star in his master’s mark has no particular meaning. From 1876/1881 Pieter Coenraad used the master's mark; CB225 in a rectangle.
