Postby Smakkk » Mon May 05, 2014 11:55 am

Hi guys i'm new to this forum and was wondering if you guys can help me identify these hallmarks on this box.

When's it made?
Who made it?
Where is it made?

Thanks guys,
Simon

To the left, a Chinese silver purity mark, 足銀.

To the right, 合 Shun He, probably a maker's mark.

I have found no information on Shun He.

Without knowing the dimensions, it is difficult to say much about this box. The tiger's eyes and nose look like they may have been inlaid with something like jade when the piece was made.

Probably dates to the Republican period.
