Vinaigrette marks - Help Please.

Amongst my small but somewhat eclectic silver collection I have a vinaigrette (3cm x 2cm x 1cm) with full London hallmarks. The date letter could be for 1789 / 1809 / or 1829.... but which ? The maker's mark is a badly struck WE, with no stops, within a rectangle with cut corners, and could be for any one of several silversmiths.... depending upon the date of manufacture.

I am completely confused, but hope that the image of the box outer, together with the image of the hallmarks, will be sufficient for someone with greater experience to give some definitive answers to my problem.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Jonty, You can rule out 1829 as the Leopard's Head would be uncrowned in that year. By the style of the box I would be more inclined to put it at 1809, rather than the earlier date. As to the maker, I will let somebody else speculate on that as I think there could be a number of candidates.
