Dutch Maker's mark on 1868 Spoon? Reeser & Zoon?

Currently at a loss for which maker has created this spoon. Showing the Lion Passant, Cursive "I' indicating 1868, Minervan Head (with a "K"-very difficult to tell) and the maker's mark of "V&C" or "VaC" in a square with a "1" below the V&C. I've scoured the internet attempting to find these marks but with no success. The only insight i have into this possibly being from G.C. Reeser & Zoon is that the spoon was contained inside of a very nice case labeled as "G.C. Reeser & Zoon Den Haag".

Hi Ant, welcome to the forum.

V&C above 1 for: Nicolaas Bernardus Antonius Visser also known as N.S. Visser & Co.
Registered in the city of ‘s-Hertogenbosch, with this particular mark between 1868-1888. The K in the Minerva head is for the regional assay office of 's-Hertogenbosch.
G.C. Reeser & Zoon Den Haag is the retailer.

My wife and I obtained this spoon recently so knowing the maker helps greatly.
