HATFIELD, Charles (Grimwade p.540)

Thomas Pitts I (Grimwade p.626, 763) signed to be his apprentice in 1737.
His burial on 23rd March 1740, late of St Martin in the Fields, was registered at St James, Paddington, as in 1757 was that of his widow Susannah (Grimwade p.540).
The Will of Charles Hatfield, goldsmith late of St Martin in the Fields, was proved for probate on 21st March 1740 (National Archives reference PROB 11/701/290).

4 February 1741 Thomas Pitts turned over to David Willaume Goldsmith with the consent of Susannah Hatfield Widow and Stephen Race Executor.

21 March 1739 (OS) Charles Hatfield of the Parish of Saint Martins in the Field Goldsmith will proved at London. His wife Susannah was one of the Executors.
