Maker of Victorian Glasgow silver salt spoon William Hannay?

I have a Victorian silver salt spoon, hallmarked at Glasgow and what appears to be a date of 1839, makers mark WH is this a mark for William Hannay, as the marks I have seen for William Hannay have a pellet between the W and H.
