KRUPP BMF 90 PATTERN?????

Hi:

I need help!!! I have a German silverware set with original chest, all pieces have a mark BMF 90 and a logo of a man with a cap walking with a cane or stick, knives blades have Rostfrei on it, case have an inscription that says

FRANZ MOSER
Berndorfer Erzeugnissse
Munchen 5
Fesunhoferstr. 20

I was researching online and hathitrust.org have a Krupp catalog but my pattern is not there, please help me find which pattern is, have a few missing pieces and need to look for them, Thanks.

I was researching online and hathitrust.org have a Krupp catalog but my pattern is not there

Why would it be? Your canteen was not made by Berndorfer Krupp. The manufacturer was BMF (Bergische Metallwarenfabrik Deppmeyer & Co.).




The BMF, Cutlery and Metalware Factory, was established in 1908 at Solingen. During WWII, the company relocated its headquarters to Burgkunstadt in Bavaria. BMF was taken over in 1994 by the Swiss firm A. Pfister S.A. and became integrated in 1996 into the branch establishment of A. Pfister S.A., Burgkunstadt.

Hopefully someone on the forum can identify your pattern, but if not, BMF are still in business, perhaps if you contact them they may be able to advise you. Please keep us informed of your progress.

I contacted BMF Co. and today they answered my email asking me for pictures, they are interested on the logo and the year of the set. I sent pictures to them right away, I'll keep you inform of the progress of my research.

I contacted BMF (Bergische Metallwarenfabrik Deppmeyer & Co.) requesting information about my cutlery and I received answer today. I want to share the information with all of you.

Dear Ms Marisol,

"This is the modell 1450. Sorry but we have no item on stock from this modell the last produce are in the 80er years, the beginn of the produce for this modell must 1930 - 1940".

not the modern after the war ! it gives in Germany no Information to this Company .Only the Table Produkts , the Beerglasses with Silverhat. and the Original Stamp bevor 1945 .
You can find it in Auktionshouses ; International or antik or Fleemarket
Look in Google.de
or auktionshouses in DE
it give it in many little varianten. And much sorts for cheep and expensive. BMF have many Things produced. Swords, Beerglasses with Silverhats or Aluminium, shaving razor,
