His marriage record in 1776 shows his full name as George Henry Rodenbostel, a bachelor aged 50 years.
The Land Tax assessments on the business address in Piccadilly were made on Christopher Hoffmaster and Henry Rodenbostel in 1763, Henry alone until 1771 after which George Rodenbostel was assessed until 1785. It is unclear whether there were two by the name Rodenbostel or if George Henry used both names.
The assessment for 1786 was made on Mrs Rodenbostel, presumably his widow.
