Postby monte100 » Sat Apr 27, 2013 11:41 am

Hi,

I am learning all the time from digging around on this site but I am still stumped with this one. It is a small silver mustard spoon but because of the design I ma finding it hard to read the makers mark. Can anyone help?

Hi,
The rooster mark : Paris, guarantee mark fo a fineness of .950 silver - period 1798-1809
Man's head : Paris, Medium guarantee mark -period 1798-1809
Lozenge : maker's mark - possibly Jean Toulon (symbol : a caduceus)
