Only a partial image of the mark of George Morris, but it shows a little more detail than Grimwade's legless image.

Having entered the mark at Goldsmiths' Hall in 1750 and taken on Robert Salmon of London as an apprentice in April 1753 Salmon was in the King's Court at the Guildhall in November of the same year asking for a new master on the grounds that George Morris had "left off the trade".
