A bond to marry Mary Harding at St Clement Dane’s in 1776 recorded he was a Cain Dealer and bachelor of that parish aged 22 years.
He was listed in the 1780 Poll Book as a cane dealer at 145 Strand and as a saddler in partnership with Simon Kelly at the same location in records of Duty paid for apprentice indentures in 1795 and 1802.
Last recorded by Grimwade in 1779 as a goldsmith from 145 Strand he was assessed to Land Tax on property there from 1780-1815.
A Jasper A Kelly is listed in the Land Tax assessment books from 1801-7 in Bridges Street, Covent Garden, property which is near Strand.
