Hi, I am new here and I need help. I have an antique victorian looking trinket box, it looks like a book and has cherubs and intricate designs on it. It has red velvet inside and it has beautiful designs. The only mark I can find is an M inside of a diamond. I don't know if they marked it that way because it is old. I do not even know if it is American. I may be in the wrong category and I tried but I have no idea how to post a picture here. Any help would be appreciated.
