A.W. JANSEN

52, St. James Street, Montreal

A. W. Jansen, formerly of 52 St. James St., Montreal, is still an absentee from the city.

Source: The Jewelers' Circular - 1st June 1910

No trace has been found of A. W. Jansen, who mysteriously disappeared from Montreal two weeks ago, after conducting business with seeming success as a diamond merchant and wholesale jeweler on St. James St. for about eight months. His liabilities were over $20,000. This week his assets have been sold by order of the courts, and afterwards it was found that the creditors had to share a loss of some $15,000.
