Postby MCB » Fri Jan 25, 2013 5:33 am

He was christened the son of James and Mary at St Martin in the Fields in 1786. There had been a christening of a son of the same name at the same church in 1780.
Andrew, the son of Sebastian Crespel, silversmith of 25 Panton Street and his wife Jane, was christened at St Martin in the Fields in 1815.
John, the son of William Roberts, a soldier late of Westminster, signed indentures in 1829 to be his apprentice at 11 James Street, Haymarket.
Thomas, the son of John William Parker, a watch case maker from Clerkenwell, signed indentures in 1839 to be his apprentice at White Hart Court, Castle Street, Leicester Square.
Sebastian and his son Andrew were listed in the 1851 UK Census as visitors of William Pairpoint a water gilder of 7 Green Street (see more of this address below).
A Trade Directory entry in 1851 listed him as a silversmith and still at White Hart Court.
His burial in 1858 aged 73 years, late of 7 Green Street, Leicester Square, was recorded at All Souls, Kensal Green.

1841 UK Census Sebastian and son Andrew are listed as working silversmiths with another of Sebastian's sons Thomas who at fifteen years of age is listed as an apprentice silversmith. Their address was Green Lane, Westminster.
