So I found this knife, it has WMF on the blade, 90 on the handle, and this cute little dog-like character, but I can't find him anywhere. Any info regarding the dog would be much appreciated. Thanks.

Welcome to the Forum.

To me it looks like an early version of Disney's Goofy.

Although the dog does resemble Disney's "Goofy," this knife is in the "Fix & Foxi" set of four pieces based on the comic books by Rolf Kauka. If you Google

WMF "Fix & Foxi"

you'll get a number of hits. There's an older set, which you have, and a newer one with plastic handles, also by WMF.
