Anyone know M over the S in Sterling? Bracelet, 1960's?

It's a bit hard to see the full hallmark since they applied the links right over them, but I got a few shots of the better marks to try and piece them together if you will. It's marked STERLING with a rather large S, and an M over the S. Any ideas? Thank you for looking!
