A loving cup of sorts but the marks have me puzzled.
Four separate marks on the base. They look German, but unable to identify.
Grateful for any help

John

Hi John,

I believe we are looking at pseudo marks as used by a handful of Dutch silver smiths.Herewith another variant; pseudo Amsterdam city mark and date letter, to imitate the Dutch Guild marks.

Please check your tea cup holder for other marks and the marks could be well hidden in the decoration.I would not be surprised your holder to be made by Hooijkaas around last quarter of the 19th century, see; http://www.925-1000.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=28590

There is another tiny mark by the handle, which I've blown up as much as I dare.

Hi John,

French import mark for silver called the Weevil. Silver items from French treaty countries were struck with the weevil in a rectangle mark, used 1893-1984. Fineness minimum .800

Treaty countries are those countries with which France had signed commercial customs treaties. The primary basis of the customs treaty is the agreement that any duty paid on the importation of a precious metal item would be refunded to the exporter if the item was subsequently re-exported. The Netherlands was one of the treaty countries.
Check the outside of the holder perhaps somewhere in the decoration might be a maker’s mark or Dutch hallmark.

Oel.

Unfortunately no other marks at all - other than those posted.
Thanks again
