Hi Trevor,

Is there evidence of of any marks beneath those backward crossed 'Z's'. The mark furthest right looks as if there is another mark underneath it. Or is that just a illusion?

Regards, Trev.

Hi Trev,

There is no evidence of another mark beneath the Z or the crossed Z's. The Z on the far right is in a slight depression as if it was a cartouche but I do not believe the marks are formed as such. I can see no sign of overmarking (other than a Z over a Z) or old punch marks being filled either. Weird.

Trevor
