makers mark....

Hello all,
I have a large 1981 london sterling pendant, holding a heavy ceramic "tile" glazed iridescently with a painting of crocus.
It is a beautiful piece, and I am very curious to know who made it but can't trace the makers mark which is QG.
Can anyone tell me more? Thanks, maggie
