Name is difficult to read, "Garnik" or something. I've searched everything but can not find the Maker's Mark. Would like to know who is the master, and age?
Thank you very much for the effort. Once a name in your mind, then you stare blindly. I see now, it’s clear, it must be Garnier. I had looked at the name Garnier, and somewhere I read an article about Jean-Baptiste Garnier. The date 1839 was there, and I think he had produced a very short time. Somewhere in my memory until the year 1847. Is that correct ??
Believe it or not but can’t find the whole article. But again thank you very much
Thanks, Zilver2 Everything I could find at auctions was Maker's Mark "Garnier" after 1838. If I can find more info, (but I don’t think so) I'll let you know
