Thank you for your suggestion. I had considered Marius Hammer, but have not seen his mark look quite like this one from the research I have done so far. This looks like a hammer or maybe a pick, with either a S and an M or a H and an M. Has anyone else seen a version of the hammer mark like this (pick or hammer with H and M?

No, this is not Marius Hammer.
It is not his pattern or style. It is very unlike norwegian. Looks more danish for me.
