Hello everyone
The hallmark picture on the following link was taken from a fork, which is part of my French cutlery set.

I was hoping that there might be someone out there who recognizes this particular hallmark?
I have done several hours of research but to no avail!
All I can make out is (AP) and something like a dog shaped animal.
Any help or opinions in regards to this matter would be very much appreciated.
