Not much of a hallmark to go on, but I know some of you are magicians ;)

I'm sorry, but my magic fails here ;-)

congratulations with your buy. I followed the auction - it was this spoon and another spoon around 50 years younger. And a fair price for the pair.

I cannot identify the maker but I am sure that it is Danish or Northern Germany.

As I have written at another forum - the use of a rat-tail spoon is not very pleasent. The rat tail disturbs the use of the spoon. The round shape of the spoon also makes it ipossible to eat.
I guess that I put a spoon into my mouth - originally people just sipped from the edge. Change in eating habbits changed shape of spoon.

But nice spoon.

No magic? ;) But if it says GNB, who is the maker in that case? Just curious
Thanx Hose, I believe it was a fair price for the pair :) I think that the other spoon is Danish? and I will post a new question about that one
