Unmarked Silver Necklace, Mideastern?

Thanks to everyone who reads and posts here. I've been using this site for years and it really is a tremendous resource. This piece tests to be silver. It's not marked. I hope I am not breaking the rules by discussing something other than hallmarks. The ends appear to be a key of some sort? Any leads as to the country of origin or what it it was used for would be most appreciated. Thanks!
