Marks on Sterling & 14K Modernist Ring

I have a lovely disc modernist ring in sterling & 14K with an unrecognizable makers mark. Not sure if it's American but looks to be a newer production. Any help identifying this signature is greatly appreciated!

If your not having any luck with 14k and Sterling/.925 I might try 24k and Ster/.925.... My eyes keep seeing it as maybe a 24k?? I wish I could help more, I hope little tidbits like this are not frowned apon, I just am really intrigued by the whole Sterling/Gold Combos, they are always really interesting and beautiful. I want to some day work with them together myself :)
