Cockerel caddy - is it Dutch?

Hi there,
I bought this caddy or spice box {head comes off} a little while ago. When I bought it I was told it may be of Dutch origin - but I really don't know. The only mark that I can see, is on the neck - but there may be another mark elsewhere that is lost in the detail. Does this mark look familiar to anyone? Would appreciate any information! Hi Jo,

Your image; if this is the only mark and perhaps maker’s mark? It's like looking for a needle in a haystack. No reason to think it is Dutch, my guess Hanau style.

thank you for your reply - I agree, it is like looking for a needle in a haystack!
I was/am hoping that somebody recognizes it, it was worth a try!
