Paul Sandig vs. Hugo Sandig

In the database it reads "Hugo Sandig" for the mark "HS/SH" (and it is meanwhile widely quoted in Germany, e.g. in eBay).
The company has been found by Hugo, but the mark -we talk here about the 20th century!- the database refers to is the mark of the company called Paul Sandig, Liegnitz/Silesia, as I can prove with the original catalogue.

Hi, Hugo (1836-1895) had founded the company in Breslau and moved it to Liegnitz around 1869. His son Paul (1864-1940) joined the company in 1894. In 1904 the company was renamed "Liegnitzer Silberwarenfabrik Paul Sandig and Co." (the "and Co." being a certain Richard O'Brian, Paul's brother-in-law). It remained active until the end of the Second World War. After 1947 the premises were taken over by the Polish company Hefra (Henneberg-Fraget). which continues to produce silverplated cutlery until this very day, partly using the old Sandig machinery. Guess I should have added that it was not uncommon to use a maker's mark for generations, regardless of the name of the owners. B.
