Orian plate, BP Copper BM Mounts

Hi, I'm just wondering if anyone here would be able to tell me what it is here that I have. I have done extensive internet research and I have not been able to find anything on this item. I was hoping that someone here would be able to help me identify this item. The only markings I was able to find on this item were on the bottom of it. All it says is Orion plate, BP Copper BM Mounts 452. If anyone could help me identify this item it would be greatly appreciated.

it look to be an vintage chocolate pot. Sorry i don't know anything about the marks

BP Copper BM Mounts 452 It could stand for Brass plate on copper, Base metal any of certain common metals such as copper, lead, zinc, and tin, as distinct from the precious metals, gold, silver, and platinum
"mounts means handles, finial spout lip"add ons. "Base metal could be nickel or mix metal 452 could a design number or manufacture code. Hope this helps
