Bottom struck makers mark ID on tea spoon please

I am having trouble deciding who the maker is of a Hanoverian, fancy back tea spoon is, the marks are bottom struck.

Only the makers mark and lion passant is present.

Makers mark is R.S and unable to decide if it is Richard Scarlett as the mark is similar to one I have found online, but could be someone else mark.

I do not have my big Jackson's to hand to check in there at present.

Grimwade only shows RS with a crown above and no pellet between the letters for Richard Scarlett. I am not sure when his career came to an end but I would have thought he was a bit early for a fancy back. The earliest dated examples I have seen (shell backs) were from the mid to late 1730s and I think other patterns would have emerged later than this. I can't spot a matching mark in Grimwade. The closest seems to be Robert Sallam, entered 1765, but I suspect yours may be a mark from the missing register.

Thanks agphile for the reply, I came across Robert Sallam myself and dismissed it as the cartouche did mot match.

I think you may be right, it is in the missing register, one I will not be able to ID :(
