Arrow and Seed?? makers mark ID

I just sold a brooch with this maker's mark. (The photo is of a gold earring and brooch set that has the same mark...didn't get a photo of the sterling piece.). The buyer asked for an ID and I promised to try to find one. It looks like an arrow through a seed or maybe a W.... Stumped.
