He was christened at St Giles, Cripplegate in 1794, the son of Matthew and Esther.
Indentures were signed in 1808 for Isaac, son of Matthew Morgan, carpenter of Lambs Chapel Court, Monkwell Street, to be the apprentice of Charles Clarke (Grimwade p.290, 334), Citizen and Goldsmith of Bunhill Row.
He entered a maker’s mark at Goldsmiths Hall in 1819 as a case maker from 33 St John Street, Clerkenwell.
His burial aged 37 years, late of Madras Place, was recorded at St Mary, Islington in 1831.
