Help with mark on inkwell - Simons Bros?

Hello,

I was hoping someone could help me identify the mark on this pairpoint glass and repousse sterling inkwell. I believe it is Simons Bros. & Co. but cannot find a mark anywhere for comparison to verify. I did find their mark with the S inside a shield. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
