Danish Figural Spoon - maker and interpretation

Postby sm-silver » Sat Jun 16, 2012 9:42 am

This spoon dates from the early 1950's. It looks as if it says 52 in one of the marks, and a date 10-4-53 is engraved on the back, along with a name.

I would like to know the maker, whether it's 925 or 830, and if anyone can explain the story behind the figures. Thank you!

Thank you very much for the wonderful information!

Do you know if this would be .925 or .830? It's not clear to me which they would have used in 1952.
