Does anyone know if this spoon is gold. Hidden in the design is a symbol that looks like a 4 in between two dots. The makers mark is hard to see because it looks like one of the scratches on the handle. Found it with a collection of antique and commemorative spoons, but almost appears to be from a set of flatware, possibly custom made? The symbol hidden in the design doesn't appear to be a makers mark, plus, but it seems rare for there to be a design in the basin of the spoon from a set of flatware. Please help
