Hallmark 1791-92

Hi!

This is a worn marking on a sauceboat from 1791-92. I was wondering of the missing duty mark, would the item not have been paid duty on? The marks are somewhat worn so how about the possibility of forgery. For me the marks looks fine but I am not an expert on British silver.

Date letter for 1751 rather than 1791, so before the duty head era.

Maker appears to be James Morison (Morrison)(Grimwade 1534, p.600).

Morison was a specialist maker of salvers and waiters, but I have noted other items by him, including cast candlesticks.
