Hello, the mark above the Hauszer mark is that of the Hungarian city Raab. Best wishes, Bahner

Hallo Theoderich,

the second city mark is probably from Temesvar. They had a hallmark looked like a "city gate with two flags, left and right".

Hi!
The first picture maybe Kismarton (Eisenstadt), i don't know the maker. The second is a nice Temesvár (now Timisoara) hallmark, the maker is maybe Schubert Simon. The 3. is a Györ hallmark from Gustav Hauszer, who worked from 1828 to 1866 in Györ. The 4. is Pozsony (Pressburg, Bratislava), Antonius Schier, around 1850. He became master around 1820, and worked to 1861.
Nice hallmarks!
Best wishes, huszas76

Hello!

Yes, I have. The basic is: Köszeghy Elemér: Magyarországi ötvösjegyek a középkortól 1867-ig/Merkzeichen der goldschmiede ungarns vom mittelalter bis 1867. This is a bilingual book,(hungarian-German) published in 1936. I have the reprint, but it's rare too. It has some mistake, but useful.
That complete an annual review, named "Művészettörténeti értesítő". That mean: Art historikal Bulletin. For example the Eisenstadt mark, and the Simon Schuster's mark was in there.
For the Györ marks is the best :Györi Ötvösség I-II-III. The 3. is for the XIX. century. This is about the Györ silber- end goldsmiths.
Regards
