My grandparanets brought this candelabra over with them from Europe to the USA in the early 1900's. This is the first time I have looked at the hallmarks. Like the teapot I posted about a few days ago, this seems to be from Austria also. The top and bottom pieces separate and seem to have different marks which would indicate that they came from different pieces. The Diana's head mark from bottom piece seems to indicate .800 purity from 1867-1872. But my eyes are not great and I could be wrong. I can not find the marks for the top piece as Diana's head there seems to differ from the pictures on this site. Can anyone help me with these?
It is Diana’s head in both, the first has letter ``A`` in the front for Vienna. Town `s mark in the second (with maker’s mark ``EK``) does not look like A. As for maker’s marks — I am searching for answers, too.
