Although Grimwade indicates Bowyer’s father William was a gentleman from Leicestershire there is a christening of a Bowyer Walker recorded at St Mary, Battersea in 1710.
The christening of Anne, daughter of Bowyer and Comfort Walker, was recorded at St Alphege, London Wall in 1735.
The burial of a Boyer (sic) Walker was recorded at St Mary, Newington in 1759.
