Unusual Mark on enamel and 935 snake bracelet

Postby music-surf » Mon Apr 23, 2012 1:19 am

I was hoping that someone could help me identify the mark on this piece of jewelry. It is a very flexible enamel and 935 silver bracelet. The mark appears to be ASSt. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I am not going to be much help on the maker's mark, but the 935 could indicate Austria as place of origin. The art deco snake wrap bracelet has been a popular accessory since the 1920s, and Margot de Taxco did a beautiful version. Perhaps you could do a search to look at comparables online.
