Is this Ladle real Russian 84 Silver

Garage Sale find, I found the 84 Mark and it looks real but can not find the first one.
Hn or AH or something else?
It weights 229 grams.
Did I find the real deal or keep looking?

You have found the real thing, congratulations. Your typical Russian ladle is made in Moscow 1899-1917 by Nikolai Ivanovitsh Pavlov 1885-1917 (НП i.e. Latin NP). It is in silver in the fineness of 875/1000. A good bargain anticipating that you didn't pay too much.

Yes Dad is right 1899-1908 not 1917, sorry I was sloppy.

WOW, Thanks I now have a start on my Silver collection. I don't think a dollar is too much. I have some plate that I have picked up over the last few months just because I liked the looks of the item, but it is true that sterling feels different in your hand.
Now I am going to try and read as much as I can in the hallmarks section before my next shopping trip.
