Need help in indenttifying a candlestick and mark. Thank you

Postby daveyh » Fri Feb 17, 2006 3:30 pm

Can anyone please tell me what these marks mean. I have searched until I am blue in the face and I can not find anything on this item. How about a matching one to make a set? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

These letters are written in Old English Text but are hard to make out on the photo. Could you please look closely at them and try to work them out. They are initials of the maker, not silver marks. Best wishes, Mike.,

Thank you for taking the time to reply. I have looked at this many times close and I have also tried to search old englsih text to find out what the letters are. They look like they are FBM&C but I am not sure since all the letters I have searched do not represent the letters in the mark. Some look close but that's it. I have posted another closer picture of the mark perhaps this will help. Thank you again.
