Sterling Tea Strainer

I have a sterling silver I am sure is of European manufacture. Looks to be late 19th century, but could be wrong. I have been through the site and have found nothing. I am sending pics as well as demensions. The spoon measures 4.25 inches in lenght and the bowl measures 2.5 inches measured from the outside edges. There is slight damage to one perforated area. Anyone out there know anything about this strainer.

Hi Sphene,

Yes, I noticed the Dutch lion passant with the number 2 between the legs for; 2nd standard of silver .833 or 83.3% pure silver. I also see a Minerva head but can not make out the letter in its helmet, to indicate which assay office has been involved. The regional assay office letter should read F for Leeuwarden or G for Zwolle. The date letter looks like the D for 1888.
The maker’s mark A2 for; Johannes Cornelis Andreae registered in the Dutch cities of Zwolle and Leeuwarden during the years 1878/1901
