Danish or German silver plaque

Postby ktiggeloven » Sun Feb 05, 2012 5:21 am

Hi fellow forum members.

I've recently added a silver plaque to my collection which still troubles me in identifying it's origins. It's a plaque with religious content made in a roccoco style. It bears a small mark which kind of resembles a luneberg 17th century mark, but is not quite there. Also the design would put it more in the 18th than the 17th century. It is engraved in the back with Jaco. Michielsen (possibly the maker?), which led me to post the topic in the scandinavian section (Danish I think) opposed to the german section. It also has some owner initials to the front.
I hope you can help me out. Thanks in advance,

Kasper
