He entered a maker’s mark at Goldsmiths Hall in 1825 as a goldworker from 17 Corporation Walk, Clerkenwell and reported a change of address to 1 Berkley Street in 1829.
The burial aged 56 years of James Lewis of Berkley Street was recorded at St John, Clerkenwell in 1830.
