I have bought this wonderful jewel casket. The seller has told me that was dutch but I think that could be german silver.
Could you give me help about hallmark? It's really fabulous and perfect.
Thanks a lot to everybody that will give your opinion about it.

Hi Iris,

My gut feeling we are looking at Hanau Pseudo Hallmarks;
http://www.925-1000.com/Fgerman_hanau_marks_01.html

Agree with ‘Hose’; an early 20th century copy of an 18th century silver German sugar box for more information Google; Silver German sugar box.

Regards,

Oel

Thanks a lot for your suggestions.
I have seen the hallmark that you say but there are no silver mark like number (830 or 12/13 for german silver).
It could be silverplated?
The other mistery are the two hallmarks in the middle...the first could be a Frankfurt mark?, and the second one?
What do you think about it?

this marks are pseudomarks - but Hanau was not the only town with this kind of marks

I have seen the left and right mark very often - but I do not find out the maker
