Hel p With Maker's Mark

Postby Alice » Thu Oct 20, 2011 5:27 pm

Hi Forum
I wondered if anybody could help me with this maker's mark. It was found on a coquille pattern fish knife. The letters are not very clear here but they read EC.
Thanks in advance ;)) Alice

Hello.

The OC, Olier & Caron, mark above was used 1910-1936.
Don't have any info on dates for your EC mark.

Pat.

Hello,
For additional information related to these marks see www.ascasonline.org/ : article nr 133 by Robert Massart 'A silver cruet set - Paris 1892/1911 and a preliminary study of the workshops succeeding Paul Canaux'.
